IONIA. Miletos. Circa 350-325 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 11 mm, 1.01 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrate Molpagoras. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΜΟΛΠΑΓΟΡΑΣ Lion standing to right, head turned back to left; above, six-rayed star. Deppert-Lippitz 330-1. Dark patina. Very fine.
