EUBOIA. Histiaia. 4th-3rd centuries BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 16 mm, 2.79 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Histiaia to right, wreathed with ivy, hair rolled, wearing earring and necklace. Rev. ΙΣΤΙ Head and neck of bull to right, the head turned slightly toward the viewer and the horns adorned with a garland; behind, star and grape bunch. BCD Euboia 460. Dark brown patina. Very fine.
