Description

Nero Claudius Drusus, died 9 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.72 g, 11 h), struck under Claudius, Rome, 41-45. NERO CLAVDIVS DRVSVS GERMANICVS IMP Laureate head of Nero Claudius Drusus to left. Rev. DE GERMANIS Triumphal arch surmounted by equestrian statue between two trophies. RIC. von Kaenel. RSC. Very rare. Toned. Struck on a short flan , otherwise, good fine.
From the collection of W. F. Stoecklin, Amriswil, Switzerland, acquired prior to 1975.
