EGYPT. Alexandria. Antoninus Pius, 138-161. Drachm (Bronze, 33.50 mm, 27.82 g, 12 h), year Δ = 4 = 140-141. ΑYΤ Κ Τ ΑΙΛ ΑΔΡ - ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟC EYC - EΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius to right. Rev. L Δ Nilus seated left on rock, holding water reed in his right hand and a cornucopiae in his left; below to right, crocodile to right; all within tetrastyle temple, pediment decorated with a disc held by two serpentine creatures on the left and right. Dattari (Savio) 8895. Geissen 1356 var. ( bust ). K&G 35.83 var. ( bust ). RPC IV.4 Online temp. 15845.5 ( this coin ). Dark green patina. Minor strengthening on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
