EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Drachm (Bronze, 35.00 mm, 29.69 g, 12 h), year KA = 21 = 136-137. [AΥΤ ΚΑΙC ΤΡΑΙ]ΑΝ - ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟC CEΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. L KA Monumental hexastyle altar of the Caesareum, with a statue of Eusebeia in the central intercolumniation; on the top, burning pyre. Dattari (Savio) 1892. K&G 32.727. Köln 1214. RPC III 6145. Bold and with an attractive grey-green patina. Some pitting, otherwise, good very fine.
