COLONIA ANTIOCHIAE Eagle standing left, head right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. RPC IV.3 Online 7358. SNG BN 1093; Krzyzanowska 142, X.23-4. Very rare, perhaps the finest known. Only three specimens cited in RPC and only one example in auctions over the last two decades. With nice details and a charming portrait of Marcus Aurelius . With earthen encrustations as found, otherwise, very fine.
