KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’, 336-323 BC. Drachm (Silver, 21 mm, 4.18 g, 12 h), Chios, circa 290-275. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; in left field, monogram above grape bunch. Price 2319. Good very fine.
