THRACE. Byzantion. late 3rd-2nd centuries BC. (Bronze, 23 mm, 5.92 g, 12 h), alliance issue with Kalchedon. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΒΥΖΑΝΤΙ / ΚΑΛΧΑΔ Tripod. HGC 3.2, 1427. SNG BM Black Sea 81. Dark green patina. Light corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
