PHRYGIA. Philomelion. late 2nd-1st century BC. (Bronze, 24 mm, 6.87 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrate Skythinos. Laureate and draped bust of Mên to right, set on crescent, wearing a highly decorated Phrygian cap and a torque. Rev. ΦIΛOMH ΣKYΘINO Zeus seated left on low throne, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left. BMC 2. SNG Copenhagen 643. SNG von Aulock 3915.
