Description

Anonymous, 211-208 BC. Victoriatus (Silver, 19 mm, 3.36 g, 3 h), Rome. Laureate head of Jupiter to right. Rev. ROMA Victory standing right, crowning trophy with wreath held in her right hand; at Victory's feet to right, monogram of VB. Crawford 95/1a. RBW 389 ( this coin ). Sydenham 113. Apparently the best known example, beautifully centered and very well-struck. Virtually as struck.
