Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides to right, wearing Macedonian helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ / ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔΟΥ The Dioskouri galloping to right, each holding a couched spear in his right hand and a palm branch in his left; below left, monogram of ΗΡΛ. Bopearachchi Series 6Z. HGC 12, 131. Mitchiner 177l. SNG ANS 473 var ( position of monogram ). Lightly toned and unusually well-struck; undoubtedly one of the finest known. Minor marks, otherwise, virtually as struck.
