ISLAMIC, Sasanian Kings. Ardashir III, 628- 630. Drachm (Silver, 33 mm, 4.17 g, 3 h), AYLAN (Susa?), year 1 = AD 628. Bust of Ardashir III to right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent, two wings, and korymbos set on crescent. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants, name of the mint in Pahlawi in field right, date in field left. SSCT -; Zeno.ru #208503. Good very fine.
