Description
ISLAMIC, Sasanian Kings. Peroz I, 457/9-484. Drachm (Silver, 28 mm, 4.12 g, 3 h), KA (Karzi) mint, year 7 = 465-466. Draped bust of Peroz I to right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants; above, star and crescent. Göbl type II/1. SNS III type IIa/1c. Cf. Zeno.ru #220082 (same mint mark but without date). Good very fine.
