KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.22 g, 12 h), Magnesia (?). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOY Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and, in his right, eagle standing right with closed wings; in the left field [oenochoe to left]; below throne, shield. Light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
