KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/5 Tetradrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.44 g, 6 h), struck posthumously under Kassander, Amphipolis, circa 323-315. Diademed head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOY Youth on horseback right; below, monogram of AN and star. Le Rider pl. 44, 13. SNG ANS 583. Lightly toned. Struck from a worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.
