Anonymous issues, time of Domitian to Antoninus Pius, 81-161. Tessera (Bronze, 19 mm, 3.56 g, 6 h), Rome. Three-legged modius containing two grain ears and a poppy. Rev. Crater. Alföldi, AN 2, pl. 9, 100. Cohen VIII p. 272, 55. Mazzini V, pl. LXXIX, 55. Very rare. Exceptionally well-preserved, with excellent centering and an attractive dark green patina. Good very fine.
