PISIDIA. Codrula. Commodus, 177-192. Assarion (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.96 g, 12 h). ΑVΤ ΚΑΙ Λ ΑY ΚOΜΜOΔO Laureate head of Commodus to right. Rev. ΚΟΔΡΟVΛEΩΝ Dionysos standing left, holding kantharos in right hand and tyhrsos in left; at feet to left, panther standing left. RPC IV.3 Online temp. 7318. SNG BN 1428. Von Aulock, Pisidiens I 989. Rare mint ; only one example cited by Von Aulock; dark green patina. Very fine.
