PHRYGIA. Ancyra. Pseudo-autonomous issue, 2nd-3rd centuries. (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.61 g, 6 h). ΘΕΑ ΡΟΜΗ Turreted and draped bust of Roma to right. Rev. ΑΝΚΥΡΑΝΩΝ Dionysos standing left, holding kantharos in right hand and thyrsos in left. BMC 17. SNG Copenhagen 134. SNG von Aulock 3428. Carefully centered. Nearly very fine.
