Description
CILICIA. Soloi-Pompeiopolis. 2nd-1st centuries BC. (Bronze, 16 mm, 3.27 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΣΟΛΕΩΝ Grape bunch; in right field, two monograms. SNG BN 1182-7 var ( monograms ). Cf. SNG Levante 857 ( monograms ). Dark brown patina with earthen highlights around the devices. Very fine.
