CARIA. Hydisos. 1st century BC. (Bronze, 19 mm, 7.37 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrate Menestheus Drakon. Head of Aphrodite to right. Rev. IΔICEΩN MENEΣΘEYΣ ΔPAKΩN Filleted cornucopia. Babelon, Inventaire sommaire 2428. Extremely rare. Well-centered and struck, with a dark green patina with earthen highlights. Nearly very fine.
