Seleukid Kings of Syria. Antiochos II Theos, 261-246 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.45 g, 12 h), Antioch mint, 256-246 BC. Diademed head of Antiochos II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding bow in his right hand; to left, monogram of ΛΕ; to right, ΔΙ monogram within circle. CSE 37 (this coin). Kraay/Hirmer 744. Le Rider 65 (this coin). SC 571.4b. SNG Spaer 335. WSM 971. Minor scratches on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
