Description
LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 443-400 BC. Nomos (Silver, 24 mm, 7.47 g, 11 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing helmet adorned with Skylla hurling a stone. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ Bull butting to right; in exergue, fish right. HN III 1799. SNG ANS 994 ff. Some cleaning marks on obverse edge, otherwise, very fine.
