MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 432-348 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 17.5 mm, 2.45 g, 6 h), Olynthos, 432-400. Laureate head of Apollo to left; behind neck, Δ. Rev. Χ-Α-Λ-ΚΙΔ-Ε-ΩN Kithara with sixstrings; all within incuse square. BMC 15 ( same dies ). Robinson & Clement group C, 22 (A18/P12). Well centered and strong strike. Minor die-rust and slight porosity, otherwise, very fine.
