ΔΑΜΑCΚΗΝΩΝ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛEΩC Turreted and draped bust of Tyche of Damascus to left, with small cornucopia at her right. BMC 10. De Saulcy 38, no. 2. Rosenberger 17. RPC IV Online 6285 ( this coin ). Amongst the best known examples. Rare with natural earthen highlights ( as compared to the unnatural ones stuck on with glue so often seen today ). About very fine.
