PHRYGIA. Peltae. Pseudo-autonomous issue, 2nd-3rd centuries. (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.24 g, 6 h). ΜΑΚ-EΔ Helmeted and draped bust of Athena to right, wearing aegis. Rev. ΠE-ΛΤΗ-ΝΩ-Ν Stag standing right. BMC 16. RPC IV.2 Online temp. 2148. SNG Copenhagen 638. Leypold II 1705. SNG Munich 427. SNG Turkey 7.1, 462. SNG von Aulock 3911 and 8433. Waddington 6377, pl. XVII, 26. Dark greenish-brown patina with light earthen deposits. Light cleaning marks, otherwise, good very fine.
