PHRYGIA. Hadrianopolis-Sebaste. Septimius Severus, 193-211. (Bronze, 22 mm, 7.23 g, 7 h). AV K CEΠ CEYH Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. ΑΔΡI APX ΠOIEI Tyche standing left, holding rudder on globe in right hand, cornucopiae in left. Cf. BMC 1. SNG Copenhagen -. Same dies as Gitbud & Naumann 37, 1 November 2015, 527. Well struck and entered, and with a highly imaginative portrait of Septimius Severus! Attractive dark brown patina. Nearly extremely fine.
