KINGS OF CAPPADOCIA. Ariarathes V Eusebes Philopator, circa 163-130 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 4.16 g, 12 h), Eusebeia-Mazaca, year ΓΛ (33) = 131-130. Diademed head of Ariarathes V to right. Rev. BAΣΙΛΕΩΣ APIAPAΘOY EYΣEBOYΣ Athena standing left, holding Nike in right hand, grounded shield in left, spear held in crook of left arm; monograms in outer fields and to inner left; below, date ΓΛ. HGC 811. Simonetta 28a (Ariarathes IV). Toned. Very fine.
