ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Circa 88-84 BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.20 g, 11 h), plinthophoric series, struck under the magistrate Nikephoros. Radiate head of Helios to right. Rev. P-O / NIKHΦOPOΣ Rose with bud to right; to left, hand holding grain ear. HGC 6, 1461. Jenkins, Rhodian, Group E, 249. SNG Keckman 676. Nicely centered and lightly toned. Very fine.
