Description
LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10.5 mm, 2.56 g, 12 h). Veiled head of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of grain ears. Rev. Tripod tied with fillet; all within linear square within incuse square. Bodenstedt 91. HGC 6, 1017. SNG von Aulock 1726. Nicely centered and lightly toned. Very fine.
