CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 375-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 20.5 mm, 8.38 g, 11 h). Ϙ Pegasos flying to left. Rev. Helmeted head of Athena to right; above to right, before helmet, Nike standing to left, holding thymiaterion; in field to right, ΕΡ. BMC 335. BCD Corinth -. Calciati 348. Ravel 936. Very rare. Boldly struck, attractively toned and with an unusual symbol. Nearly extremely fine.

From a Swiss collection, acquired in the late 1990s.
