Description
MACEDON. Thessalonica. Circa 187-168/7 BC. (Bronze, 23 mm, 13.73 g, 12 h). Head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. [ΘΕ]ΣΣΑΛΟ-ΝΙ-ΚHΣ Grape bunch; monograms in lower left and right field. HGC 3.1, 717. SNG ANS 786. Dark green patina. Nearly fine.
