Description
KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-282/1 BC. (Bronze, 19 mm, 3.02 g, 11 h), Contemporary imitation. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet; countermark: river-god Hebros reclining left, Δ in circle monogram below. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ [Λ]YΣIM[AXOY] Lion leaping right; below, spearhead to right. Cf. HGC 3, 1758. Cf. Müller 61. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 1149. Green patina. Crude as made, otherwise, good very fine.

An interesting imitation sporting a countermark of Odessos.
