Description
THRACE. Maroneia. Circa 386/5-348/7 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 10.94 g, 8 h), struck under the magistrate Metronos. ΜΑΡΩ-ΝΙΤΩΝ Horse prancing to right. Rev. EΠI MH-TPΩNOΣ Grape arbor within linear square border; to left, plow. HGC 3.2, 1533. Schönert-Geiss 505 (V43/R70). SNG Copenhagen 609 (same dies). Nice old toning. Very fine.
