Phokaia. Circa 478-387 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.63 g). Head of a male goat with a long beard to left; below truncation, here barely visible, seal swimming to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Bodenstedt 51a/α. Very rare. A lovely coin of splendid style, beautifully toned and with a particularly attractive goat's head. Extremely fine.
