Corinthia
Corinth. Mid 4th century BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.50 g, 3 h). Pegasus, with pointed wing, flying to left; below, ?. Rev. Α-Ρ Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard and laurel wreath on the bowl, and a pearl necklace; behind to right, eagle standing to left with closed wings, its head turned back to right. BCD Corinth 101. BMC 258. Calciati 426. Ravel 1008. Nicely centered. Some deposits and with an obverse struck from a worn die, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
