Corinth. Mid 4th century BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.57 g, 3 h). Pegasos, with pointed wings, flying to left; below, ?. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet and pearl necklace; below chin to left, Ι; in field to right, Nike flying to left. BCD 111. BMC 350. Calciati 420. Ravel 1030. Well-struck, toned and attractive. Minor scratches and graffiti, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
