Leo IV the Khazar, with Constantine VI, 775-780. Miliaresion (Silver, 26 mm, 2.15 g, 12 h), Constantinople, 776-780. ҺSЧS XRISTЧS ҺICA Cross potent on base and three steps, all within triple circle of dots. Rev. LЄOҺ/ S COҺST/AҺTIҺЄ Є/ C ΘЄЧ ЬA/SILIS• in five lines within triple circle of pellets. DOC 3.5 (also overstruck on an dirhem). SB 1585. Lightly toned and clear. Pierced to be used as jewellery and clearly overstruck on a Umayyad dirhem, otherwise, very fine.
