EUBOIA. Chalkis. Circa 338-308 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16.5 mm, 3.41 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Chalkis to right. Rev. XAΛ Eagle flying upwards with spread wings, pecking at snake held in its talons; to lef, monogram of HΓ. BCD Euboia 139. HGC 4, 1463. Picard Emission 8. Bright and clear. Areas of flatness. Very fine.
