Michael VIII Palaeologus (1261-1282 AD). Constantinople AE Trachy (23mm 2.6 g) Obv: Half-length bust of St. George facing, holding spear and shield Rev: Michael, holding labarum, and St. Constantine (Constantine the Great) standing facing, holding patriarchal cross between them.
