Kingdom of Macedon. Alexander III 'the Great' AR Drachm. (17mm, 4.23 g) Kolophon, circa 310-301 BC. Struck under Antigonos I Monophthalmos. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in left field, crescent below throne.
