CRUSADERS. Chios. Maona Society (Circa 1347-1533). Fourrée Ducat. (21mm, 2.2 g) Imitating Venice issue of uncertain doge. Obv: St. Mark standing right, presenting staff with banner to Doge kneeling left; barbarous legend around. Rev: Christ the Redeemer standing facing within mandorla of nine stars; barbarous legend around.
