Kingdom of Macedon, Alexander III 'the Great' AR Drachm. (15mm, 4.2 g) Struck under Stamenes or Archon. 'Babylon', circa 325-323 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus Aëtophoros seated to left, holding sceptre; ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ to right, M in left field, monogram below throne.
