Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III the Great. 336-323 B.C. AE (18mm, 5.26 g). Sardes mint, Struck 334-323 B.C. head of Alexander as Hercules right wearing lion-skin headdress, paws tied at throat / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, name between bow and bow-case with opening to left above, and club, handle to left beneath // monogram.
