Kingdom of Macedon, Alexander III 'the Great' AR Drachm. (17mm, 4.23 g) Lampsakos, circa 328-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left, holding sceptre; AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ in right field, Demeter with two torches in left field, monogram below throne.
