ANONYMOUS FOLLIS. Class I. Attributed to Nicephorus III Botaniates (1078-1081 AD). AE, Follis. (20mm, 3.1 g) Obv: IC - XC. Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator. Rev: Latin cross, with saltire cross at centre and globus and two pellets at the end of each extremity; crescent to upper left and right, floral scroll below.
