KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. (17mm, 3.3 g) Erythrai. Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ. Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, monogram within wreath and vertical club; monogram below throne.
