CILICIA. Coropissus. Maximinus Thrax (235-238). Ae. (30mm, 15.4 g) Obv: ΑΥΤ Κ Γ Ι ΟΥΗ ΜΑΞΙΜЄΙΝΟN. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: ΚΟΡΟΠΙϹϹЄωΝ ΤΗϹ ΚΗΤωΝ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛЄωϹ. Perseus, holding harpa and severed head of Medusa, and Andromeda standing facing one another, clasping hands; head of Ketos between them.
