Byzantine lead seal of Alexander Sydemases comes
(10th/11th cent.)
Obverse: Patriarchal cross on 4 steps, circular inscription, K(ΥΡΙ)Ε ΒΟΗΘΗ ΤΩ CΩ ΔΟΥΛΩ (Lord, help your servant), all within dotted border.
Reverse: Inscription in 4 lines, following a cross and terminating to a floral decoration, +ΑΛΕ/ΞΑΝΔΡΩ/ΚΟΜΙΤΑCΥ/ΔΗΜΑCΙ (Alexander Sydemases comes), all within dotted border.
Condition: Very Fine
