Description

Thrace, Anchialus Maximinus I, 235-238 Bronze circa 235-238, Æ 28.3mm., 12.08g. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r. Rev. The Emperor standing facing, looking l., in military dress, holding spear and patera over tripod. AMNG 588. RPC 428.

Extremely rare, only three specimens listed in RPC and the only one in private hands, brwon tone and Very Fine.

Only three specimens known.
