Description

Nero, 54-68 Sestertius circa 64, Æ 35.7mm., 24.49g. Laureate head l. Rev. ANNONA AVGVSTI CERES Annona standing r., hand on hip and holding cornucopiae, and Ceres, seated l. with foot on low stool, holding grain ears over modius on garlanded altar, and cornucopiae, facing each other; bow and branch on ground before; ship's poop in background. RIC 138. BMC 129.

Atractive lighr brown tone, well centred, Very Fine.
